Perhaps why Trump is trying to develop economic growth using every trick he can. The stalled growth of the last years are showing up now. Perhaps we are on a tightrope and could easily fall off if his measures fail. At issue is time for improvements to happen.

Tis so odd that his advisors aren’t talking the plan up in media. But nobody is happy with your message even because it’s true. The public remains unaware quibbling about genes/jeans. Distraction.

The pandemic response was massively destructive to society and the economy. Yet the corporate and political elite welcomed the destruction because they hope to build a better system - a system where human capital is wholly redundant to machines. They desire this system because the working class population is in great decline and the only way to realize economic growth is via massive gains in productivity. They also desire this system because it is easier and legal for Capitalists to own machines and capture the profits of those machines.

The current period is extremely messy because the machines are not ready and it is unknown how an economy oriented around machines will function. For the only entity in the world that has motivation and incentives are humans! So a world centered around machines has no purpose. This is the great moral and philosophical vacuum of the tech evangelists: They preach a paradise where humans are unnecessary without consideration that in such a world humans have no purpose or meaning.

It has long been feared that humans would replace God with themselves. But we are in a worst place now. Today humans are replacing God and themselves with machines! It is bewildering this tech religion has reached this point. It is all the more bewildering that there are still so few voices yelling Stop!

To say there are no jobs for humans is to argue humans are worthless and have nothing to contribute to each other. This is a lie. We know it a lie. Humans are ingenious at creating value and opportunity. So why are tech evangelists saying humans are worthless? What is this dark and miserable religion they are preaching? I suggest pushing back against this religion and forcing those preaching it to explain their conviction. Do they believe what they are saying or just saying what they think others want to hear?

Tanking oil demand? This week, our prices went up about 50 cents a gallon. The corner station was $2.89 cash and now is $3.36. Same with others in the area. I see the oil futures still rising.
