RG Co-Founder Frozen out of Twitter; The Media Variant Grows; Vaccines Breaking Hearts
The New Year is upon us and we’ll probably be doing some year-in-review posts this week but here’s what you missed over the weekend:
“They will be paying for our generation’s decision the rest of their lives”
Jan Crawford is one of the least crazy libs over at CBS and so her remarks on children were very well-received. The impact on children (which some of us have been decrying for 20+ months) is massive and it will impact this rising wave of youth in dramatic and unfortunate ways.
“The virus stops with every vaccinated person!”
Nostalgia is one of our favorite pastimes these days. Remember when the vaccines were the end-all/be-all miracle cure to get us out of the pandemic. Listen to the great propagandist Rachel Maddow parrot the obviously talking points from Fauci & Co.
Well, that didn’t work out too well and it didn’t work out too well for our intrepid co-founder of Rational Ground, Aaron Ginn had his account suspended this AM! No reasons were given but this video of Maddow may have put the censors over the edge.
The Media Variant
A terrific piece over the weekend in the WSJ by our friend Karol Markowicz notes how the media has shifted from lambasting DeSantis to downplaying their own COVID-19 interactions as unexpected and “a given.” Shrugs all around - I guess we’re all gonna get Covid! She notes: “Yes, it’s the media variant. But it has been all along.”
This Come-to-Covid moment was epitomized by a lengthy twitter thread mea culpa via CNN’s Chris Cillizza:
Meanwhile, all of our friends on Team Apocalypse are trying to switch-sides and present themselves as alway-reasonable advocates of sanity. A recent FOIA request between Fauci and the Director Collins of the NIH revealed that they had directly targeted the Great Barrington Declaration and that one of their hitmen was Gregg Gonsalves.
Gregg is singing a very different tune now. One that almost reads like the GBD:
Something in the Water?
Living on the West coast (and thinking daily about vacating these premises) I’m reminded daily that people in the West coast have lost their ever-lovin’ minds. In Seattle, the Polar Bear Swim of 2022 will take place but you must be fully vaccinated and…. you must wear a mask.
The results are in and they should give us all pause
A decent-sized study noted over the last two weeks that if you are a male under 40 years old your risk of a serious adverse reaction called myocarditis is much higher from taking the vaccine than what you would experience from just contracting Covid.
Our friend Vinay walks through the details here. The evidence is pretty irrefutable now - there is a significant risk to men under 40 after taking 2 shots of the mRNA vaccine.
On this same theme, Bethany Mandel writes in the New York Post how our health experts know very well about the risks of the vaccine to younger demographics but went ahead and approved it anyway.
She quotes Cody Meissner on the panel approving the EUA vaccine for 5 to 11 year olds:
Another panel member, Dr. Cody Meissner, explained, “I think we saw approximately 68 percent of the children who are hospitalized with COVID-19 have underlying comorbidities, so that means about 32 percent do not. And then if we were to take 40 percent of that group that already have immunity already, we’re getting down to a very small percent of otherwise healthy 6- to 11-year-old children who might derive some benefit. And we simply don’t know what the side effects are going to be.”
His next comment was prescient: “It’s not even clear this vaccine will reduce rates of transmission. We’re hoping that’s the case, but we don’t know. This vaccine probably isn’t going to prevent infection, it’s going to prevent severe disease,” he said. “I’m just worried that if we say yes, the states are going to mandate administration of this vaccine to children in order to go to school. And I do not agree with that. I think that would be an error at this time until we get more information about the safety.”
Bethany doesn’t recount it but as I recall the other panelists chimed in and claimed: that’s not our concern.
Oppenheimer regretted how his invention was used to threaten civilians in a grotesque arms race. Seems analogous to the tactics against our citizenry with the vaccine. Threatening our pursuit of happiness if we step out of line and ignoring the consequences of escalating said “science”.

Just got the word from 2 fully vaxxed friends this morning that they have "breakthrough" infections. One of their doctors even admitted to them that 62% of positive cases were of the fully vaxxed right now (not sure what data set this is exactly, but sounds about right). 3 more new members of Team Reality!
