Avian flu didn’t drive up egg prices.
Our dipshit bureaucrats did—when they ordered the mass culling of healthy chickens over the so-called avian flu.

Excellent work - I wonder if the same sort of analysis would clarify the housing affordability debate? Since real estate prices vary widely from one location to another I suspect one would have to pick a single location.

Thanks for your work!

Great article - this is the type of reporting that corporate media should do, but won't.

Which numbskull is prez has little to do with inflation. Both clown shows spend well beyond their means. The deficit is clicking near $40 trillion which it will pass in a few days. With high interest rates, the cost of managing that debt is rising severely. That adds to inflation.

El Trumpo says gasoline is cheap. But that is coming from a guy who has made BILLIONS while sitting in the oval office and has no clue about anyone not worth billions, which is 99.9999999% of the country. Politicians ain't worth a nickle when it comes to serving the citizen.

We are able to weather the inflation storm on a fixed income because we have no real debts. We live relatively fine staying within our means. We may not have a house payment, but we pay almost $900/month for rent. And we can afford to buy decent foods. Go on vacations. Buy new furniture. New clothes. And still save money.

Wow, that was great, even-handed and very interesting. Probably won't drive up subscriptions, but I appreciate it!
