Update on Hospitalizations by State and Region
Here are screenshots of the current state-wide hospitalizations by HHS Region and state. These include adult and pediatric confirmed and suspected previous day admission. First, the hot spots: Regions 1 (Northeast); Region 8 (Mountain West); Region 9 (West); Region 10 (Northwest). Other regions follow those charts.
The blue line shows 2020. Green line shows 2021 so you can get the potential seasonal paths.
Am not a statistician, so this Telegram post does not mean much to me. I think it's saying that the confounding affects are positively impacting vaccine effectiveness, but am not sure. (Have also posted this to Matthew Crawford's substack).
