The art of that time is awesome. As a graphic designer and artist I’ve always loved this eras poster work. Internet has ruined art IMHO.

Thanks for this posting, Justin. I have been beating the drum--and my gums--about the fact that this is not, not even close, to the first time this type of overwrought fearmongering has been used. These great posters put another log on that fire, or another shrimp on the barbie, or something like that.

Native American reservations are having epidemics of Syphilis outbreaks right now. Most pushed the covid vaccines heavily with Cares Act incentive monies for each jab. Hmm? I've also heard from a doctor recently about a high number of infants in Texas having Syphilis as well.

I've been asked to take a job as an RN this summer testing on South Dakota reservations. Also, the Syphilis prevalence was brought up twice to me in the last few days. My nursing instructor informed us of how bad it was and a relative high up in Native American healthcare also told me. The doc in Texas said the baby thing about three months ago. It may have been Dr Bartlette TX, early treatment Budesonide proponent.

I did a bit of digging. You're right on the money.

(Edited original reply.)

I remember that doctor.

Thanks for providing context Jayne. 💖

Thanks. Cataloging treatments is my specialty. Been doing it since 1998.

...and state sponsored and paid for propaganda....

That TB poster was from the pre-antibiotic era, right? It looked like it was promoting sunshine, sleep, fresh fruit and fresh milk as public health orders for reducing risk of disease. Why would that be seen as authoritarian propaganda? Because of the word "obey"? At least they didn't force everyone to get cancer-causing chest X-rays all the time like they did later on.

A lot of these posters are good designs promoting sensible ideas.

I get a lot of heat for saying FDR was more of a Fascist than Socialist, but its true. Social Security Insurance is no more socialist than any Insurance is.
