I keep reading that Harris is leading in some battleground states. As Seinfeld would say, who are these people who have such hankering for economic pain?

The article about Trump's campaigning in Blue states wasn't intriguing. Its only repeated claim is that Trump is becoming senile. I don't appreciate TDS links.

Oh, I'd suggest Trump is anything but 'incoherent'. He keeps the pundits guessing. Good. It shows up in Kamy and TT's (a la BO and DNC) latest campaign farcical, bombing propaganda pieces.

Interesting to see in the so called 'incoherent new campaign strategy' piece, one of the the first things MSNBC dredges up, before generally devolving from there, is the old - "The former president has shown signs that suggest declining mental acuity, and his rhetorical patterns are more discursive and difficult to follow." Yeah, uh huh. That mental acuity seems a damn sight better than anything I've seen from Joey, Kamy or TT.

Schedule F. I certainly hope Trump/Vance bring this back, even though I'm not a fan of Presidential Executive Orders. There is also a Convention of States movement that includes similar lines of action.

The spoils and patronage system in place before the 1883 Pendleton Act, was far from perfect. But the explosion of uncontrollable bureaucrats since then hasn't worked either. The Federal Civil Service (2 million strong!!) needs to have it's wings clipped. Just the same as many of the rouge Cabinet level Agencies, and their attendant departments, need an overhaul, if not dissolution.

I would offer that Donald Trump has a two-pronged strategy for campaigning in blue states: He wants to try to get more Republicans elected into close races in the House, and he wants to show that it is possible for a Republican to win the national popular vote.

While I think the second goal is more an ego issue than anything, I will make a point or two about the first.

The Democrats, under the probable leadership in the House of the rascally Jamie Raskin, have said that if Trump wins the electoral vote, he will lead a resolution in the House to declare that Trump is/was an insurrectionist in 2021, and is ineligible to be President. If that passes, then all of Trump's electoral votes would be nullified. This will only work if the Democrats are the majority party in the House. Trump could be trying to build a larger Republican majority in the House for the next session to prevent this strategy from working.
