They do these studies because they are a version of virtue signalling. They would probably even say that this is proof that these groups are being marginalized. Heck, there might be studies out there that maintain that COVID targeted marginalized groups.
The problem is that Covid has yet to be the sole determiner of "Long Covid" which has a constellation of more than 200 symptoms that before 2020, would have been attributed to many sources. But now everything is Long Covid.
I would also state that the testing for "covid positivity" is also false. That the "covid deaths" were iatrogenic or they were mislabeled due to other causes of death.
What I believe is being diagnosed as " long covid" is injury from the shot they all took, which most docs aren't acknowledging. I have no idea why sexual preferences are even acknowledged or would be considered a factor here. If the implication is that symptoms are really a mental health issue well I don't know. What are the supposed "symptoms" of " long covid?" Are they the same for all? Can any of these symptoms be attributed to anything else? If this is an official CDC graph it's ridiculous and should not be taken seriously. Quite embarrassing really....

My daughter sees this in her behavioral health clients...it's just another layer for those needing attention to avoid real life and blame SOMETHING (somebody) for them not "being able to____" (fill in the blank, but "grow up" seems to suffice here.
Long Covid is not by itself a mental disorder. It's a well known phenomenon that many diseases have some small portion of infected people who experience post-viral syndrome. The problem is that the overall percentages of people claiming to have Long Covid are so much greater than the typical norm that there's most certainly other factors at play.
