If only modern medicine had concluded that excess miasma was responsible for COVID-19 and prescribed fresh air in the sun for patients, thus increasing vitamin D... (BTW, that was the most effective treatment for sufferers of the 1918 Spanish Flu )

Instead they told patients to go home until they needed a respirator. (That's what they told me anyway.)

It makes one wonder what the next "conspiracy theory" or looney idea ends up being proven accurate and accepted as valid.

The history of medicine SHOULD keep us humble but it rarely seems to have that effect. I wrote a similar piece about the fascinating case of Ignaz Semmelweis, who tried to introduce basic sanitation procedures (like hand washing) to obstetrical care. The "experts" at the time laughed at him and he died alone in a psychiatric hospital at age 47---but now there are hospitals named after him. https://pairodocs.substack.com/p/heresy-in-the-church-of-science

It’s sad that people are so easily manipulated by fear and intimidation. If we really followed “the science” we would have never worn masks or had a lock down. I fell for the rouse only a short time, never having worn a mask outdoors. But I did succumb to the pressure of the vaccine even though I had already recovered from the infection of COVID-19 due to the threat of not being allowed to work. The most sad thing is there are still fools wearing masks!

"When humanity stopped drinking its own sewage," [deadly pandemic diseases stopped].

Still looking for the whole quote, greater context and author of this quote, I believe an early 20th century observer.

I've shared this one before with you, Justin. When addressing the worthlessness of masks. But it also gives a bit of credence to that old discredited theory of disease known as miasma. Poison air.

What if...virus and bacteria could remain suspended in the air, atmosphere, vast distances, even cross oceans and remain viable, infectious? What if miasma had some basis in science, actual scientific evidence, as this study unintentionally and unknowingly reveals? Because virus, phage and bacteria are in the air all around us, all the time. And what makes the biggest difference in who becomes sick and who doesn't in the same air is the internal state of health found inside living creatures, like man. Because we live in a literal ocean teaming with microbiology, including a sort of "poison air" when understood in this context.
