Look, as we’ve said on numerous occasions, the data made available to the public are unwieldy and messy and difficult to pull into Excel. So… we’ve done all the heavy lifting for you.
The zip file (for subscribers) below contains:
CDC_CSF_AGE_RACE_STATS.xlsx - parsed from the 5 gigabyte CDC Case Surveillance file showing all of the core stats by age, race, and month.
covid_cases_us_counties_20220125.xlsx - parsed from NYTimes county-level data. Cases for every county for THE ENTIRE PANDEMIC by date.
covid_deaths_us_counties_20220125.xlsx - same parsing but for deaths.
