Elon Buys Twitter!
With Elon’s bid to buy Twitter seemingly sabotaged by the board adopting a “poison pill” strategy, a weekend set of conversations turned everything on its head and by Monday morning the news had broken that his offer had been accepted. Elon just bought Twitter for $44 billion.
Immediately, the gnashing and wailing of teeth was evident. Former Watergate defendant turned star witness John Dean chimed in:
Some media personalities lost it altogether. We were left scratching our heads as they outlined their predictions of what Elon might do with Twitter by describing everything already wrong with Twitter:
