This was a literal case of the cure being worse than the disease. Covid didn't cause nearly as much harm as the reaction to it did. The one silver lining is that this exposed the incompetence of the so called "experts" and the corporate media so much that they've blown their credibility with a substantial portion of the population.

I love this article and you articulated it very precisely and clearly. Thank you for that. I also appricate that you mention many points which are not reflected by others. The role of Internet in all of this madness is huge. If there would be no remote work or Zoom calls like few years back, people would soon realize, that the restrictions are useless and there is no real danger. Also it wouldn't be so easy to keep them locked down for two years without Netflix and other entertainment brought by online services to their home.

I also agree with you on Trump, he was the first one who impose lockdown and allow this mania to spread. Of course, then Democrats and others took over and it was much worse but he failed also and it should be noted, that he is not the way how to make things better.
