A problem is that no matter how many kids died, the jab enthusiasts will clap like trained seals and say that it was worth it, because 71 trillion lives were saved. There needs to be, again IMO, a concurrent study about where the F did any credible lives saved numbers come from.
You're quite correct, and I agree that more study is required. That said, any further studies have to address the root database corruption, or the study results will be as flawed and deceptive as those used to promulgate "The Narrative."

Here in the US. it seems to me that the original Covid deaths were wildly inflated to pump up the fear volume and to make money for the hospitals. No matter what someone died of - motorcycle accident, ventilator and remdesivir, the flu - it was counted as a Covid death. And then if those numbers went down after a while, perhaps that could be extrapolated incorrectly as see, the jab saved people, the numbers are lower. Big corrupt mess.

Now on to the effectiveness of any of the mandated methods like masking 5 year old kids or us for that matter. We know didn’t do much but so did the authorities yet demanded compliance.
This poor baby died after his mother took the injection:
Patient received second dose of Pfizer vaccine on March 17, 2020 while at work. March 18, 2020 her 5 month old breastfed infant developed a rash and within 24 hours was inconsolable, refusing to eat, and developed a fever. Patient brought baby to local ER where assessments were performed, blood analysis revealed elevated liver enzymes. Infant was hospitalized but continued to decline and passed away. Diagnosis of TTP. No known allergies. No new exposures aside from the mother's vaccination the previous day.
