The book spends a good deal of time discussing the impact of Covid policies on our kids.

A new dynamic has emerged among families and schools and it is not pretty (excerpt from the book):

Parents learned very quickly that fibbing to the school was the only way to keep their kids in school at all. It used to be that if you extended a vacation for your kids or wanted to take them out for the day you’d simply call in and say they were sick. Now, the fibs are reversed. If your child came down with a cold or was out because he wasn’t feeling well (because, shocker, kids get sick with all sorts of things), you’d call it a personal day for the child. Otherwise, multi-day testing was required, and if the test came up positive for Covid, the entire class would be sent home. When society makes liars of parents to ensure their kids are treated well, society is broken.

Whose idea was it to lock us all inside, eating takeout, getting fat, and going crazy with our kids for months on end? If you guessed Dr. Anthony Fauci, you’d be right. Early on in the pandemic, Dr. Fauci, the head of the NIAID and the highest-paid federal employee in the history of the United States, seemingly wondered aloud: Lockdowns worked for the CCP, why not for us? But it wasn’t always that way.
